HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
No charge to attend as a visitor or guest. Membership of Early Bird Speakers and thus of Toastmasters International is £60 for every six months with a one-off enrolment fee of £30 (including manuals). There's no obligation to join although you won't be eligible to present prepared speeches until you're a member.

The initial manual contains your first ten speech projects that increase in complexity during your first year or so as a Toastmaster. You'll also receive manuals on projects in leadership skills; use of vocal variety and body language as well as evaluation techniques.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND THE MEETINGS?
We expect the meetings to attract 30-50 people per session.
WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE JOIN?
Toastmasters International attracts a wide variety of members. At Early Bird Speakers our members are mostly business professionals and academics who are keen to develop their skills before a normal working day. We have novice speakers and professional speakers who learn much from each other.
WHAT IS TOASTMASTERS?
Founded in 1924, Toastmasters International is a worldwide not-for-profit network of clubs with a practical formula that enables the development of members' communication and leadership skills, building self confidence in the process. It is the largest and most successful organisation of its type - led by the members for the members - with nearly a quarter million members of around twelve thousand clubs in more than a hundred countries.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Just come along to the next meeting. You'll discover far more from seeing us in action than you'll learn here on the web. It'll cost you £nothing to attend. The Club is open to everyone over the age of 18 years. There's a simple application process BUT as we limit our membership to fifty members there's currently a short waiting list.
